TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please ensure that you carefully read and accept our terms and conditions before enquiring about booking decor.

1. DEPOSIT

A deposit must be paid at your earliest convenience in order to secure your booking.  There will be no return on deposits for orders cancelled within 30 days of the function. We will confirm the amount upon booking.

 

2. BALANCE

The full amount of the hiring of the items listed on the invoice must be paid one week prior to collection if an EFT is made. If paying cash then it must be paid upon collection. We do not have credit card facilities.

 

3. ORDER CHANGES

Final changes to an order must be made by the latest 7 days before the function.

 

4. COLLECTIONS

Items booked in advance may be collected 2 days prior to the day of the function. Last minute bookings still need to be prepared, therefore a specific collection date will be given for late bookings, usually one day before the function.

 

5. RETURN OF ITEMS (MONDAY-THURSDAY)

If the function takes place during the week, items hired must be returned by not later than 17:00 two days after the function date.

 

6. RETURN OF ITEMS (FRIDAY-SUNDAY)

If the function takes place over a weekend, the items hired must be returned by no later 17:00 on the Monday following the function. We are not open on Sundays. Late returns will be charged at 30% of the rental fee per day for the first 2 days, thereafter the full hiring amount will be charged.

7. RETURN ITEMS IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING

Items are to be returned in its original packaging as most of the packaging has been designed to prevent breakage during transport.  A replacement fee will be charged for lost packaging.

 

8. REPLACEMENT/REPAIR/BREAKAGE

A replacement/repair fee is payable in event of any losses, breakage of, or damage to the items. A wax removal fee will be charged for items with candle wax spills on them.  Please do not attempt to scratch off any wax, as this may result in damaged items. Please do not wash any linens, as we have a specific way of treating our linen and improper cleaning procedures may result in damaged items. All replacement/repair fees shall be deducted from the deposit.

 

9. REPLACEMENT/REPAIR/BREAKAGE

If the value of the breakages/damages/losses amounts to more than deposit paid, the customer will be held liable to pay the outstanding balance in full within 7 days of the hired items being returned.

 

10. RETURN OF DEPOSIT

The deposit, or remainder thereof, shall the refunded by means of electronic transfer by no later than 5 days after all items have been returned. In the event that the customer fails to comply with the above-mentioned points (1 – 10), legal action will be taken against him or her and the customer shall be liable for all costs incurred by both parties in the defense and/or settlement, judgment or resolution thereof.
